Grandfather bought Toto from a tonga-driver for five rupees because he felt sorry for the monkey.

2. “Toto was a pretty monkey.” In what sense was Toto pretty?

      “टोटो एक सुंदर बंदर था।” टोटो किस अर्थ में सुंदर था?

Toto had bright eyes, white teeth, quick fingers, and a long tail. He looked smart and attractive.

3. Why did Grandfather take Toto to Saharanpur and how?

Grandfather took Toto because he was very naughty and could not be left at home. He carried Toto in a black canvas bag.
