*Introduction:- Television is an important part of our life. It is an audiovisual machine. Television is also called “T.V”. It is a useful device. It gives us knowledge information. It is a great source of entertainment and communication in today’s life. 

*Advantages:- There are many advantages of television. It is quite affordable for everyone. It is the main source of entertainment. It provides us with many programs for all ages. Many channels broadcast their shows in many languages. These shows are beneficial for new learners to improve vocabulary. Now a day many T.V channels broadcast educational shows. It educates the students about the latest discoveries of science and technology. It also provides the latest information about agriculture to the farmers. There are many news channels which inform us about National and International news. 

*Disadvantages:- There are also some disadvantages of television. some people do nothing but watch television all the time. This wastes a lot of times daily. It affects our health. T.V screen is also harmful to our eye. Sometimes, violence is shown on T.V shows. This can affect the young mind of children. It also affects the study of the student. 

*Conclusion:- Television has both advantages and disadvantages. But the advantages of T.V are much more than the disadvantages. So finally we can say, life without television has become incomplete and boring. We cannot live without it.
