1. What are the things the child sees on his way to the fair? Why does he lag behind?

मेले जाते समय बच्चा रास्ते में कौन-कौन सी चीज़ें देखता है? वह पीछे क्यों रह जाता है?

The child sees many things on the way to the fair like toys, flowers, butterflies, sweets, balloons, snakes, and the merry-go-round.

He walks slowly because he stops again and again to look at these things.

2. In the fair he wants many things. What are they? Why does he move on without waiting for an answer?

मेले में उसे बहुत सी चीज़ें चाहिए होती हैं। वे क्या हैं? वह जवाब का इंतज़ार किए बिना आगे क्यों बढ़ जाता है?

The child wants toys, burfi, flowers, balloons, to hear the snake-charmer, and a ride on the merry-go-round.

He moves on without waiting because he knows his parents will say “No”.

3. When does he realise that he has lost his way? How is his fear shown?

उसे कब एहसास होता है कि वह रास्ता भटक गया है? उसका डर किस तरह दिखाया गया है?

He realises he is lost when he turns back to ask for a ride on the merry-go-round and cannot see his parents.

His fear is shown by his crying, running here and there, and shouting for his mother and father.

4. Why does the child lose interest in the things he wanted earlier?

बच्चा उन चीज़ों में अपनी दिलचस्पी क्यों खो देता है, जिन्हें वह पहले चाहता था?

The child loses interest in all the things because he is separated from his parents. He only wants to find them.

5. What do you think happens at the end? Does the child find his parents?आपको क्या लगता है कि आखिर में क्या होता है? क्या बच्चे को उसके माता-पिता मिल जाते हैं?

The ending is not clearly given. But it seems that the kind man helps the child find his parents.
